Tasty Tomatoes on Toast
A recipe from our Farm Manager - Mr Wozniak:

The photo shows Mr Dain and the BBC presenter tasting the oil and sharing a few recipes.


Chris Wozniak (our Farm Manager) recommends the following quick and tasty snack:

Take a slice of toast, and add a chopped fresh tomato, with a little chopped onion.  Drizzle with cobnut oil and top with grated cheese.  Place under the grill for a couple of minutes for a delicious and easy hot snack. 




Baked Potato with Cobnut Oil Infusion:
Mr Dain, owner of Hurstwood Farm, shared his recipe for an easy evening meal -

Bake a potato, and just before it is ready, create a 'well' in the centre of the potato by removing a section (he uses an apple corer).  Fill the well with Cobnut Oil and return the potato to the oven.  Cook for a further 10 minutes or until the Cobnut Oil has infused through the potato.  

You can fill the 'well' with anything you fancy - grated cheese, creme fraiche or tuna would all be delicious.
