Chocolate Brownies
Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients:
4oz unsweetened chocolate
3 large eggs
One-third of a cup of cobnut oil
1 ½ cups sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla flavouring
¾ cup of flour and ½ a teaspoon of salt
Cobnut oil to brush your baking tin
Directions:
Heat the oven to 375
o
F
Coat an 8" square pan with cobnut oil
Melt the chocolate and cobnut oil together
Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla for 5 minutes then add the chocolate mixture
Fold in the flour and salt
Add chocolate chips for normal Brownies, or add chopped dates and cherries to give additional flavour
Mix well and bake for 20-25 minutes
Serve warm with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed, roasted cobnuts, for a delicious pudding
